Museum installed in the palace of the Carrancas, built in the end of the XVIII century and that got to be residence of the royal family. It houses collections of decorative arts, painting and sculpture, but has been enriched with the deposit of the Municipal Museum of Porto. It also includes a ceramic core, with faience pieces from the North of Portugal, pieces of jewelery, jewelery, furniture, glass and oriental porcelains from the 16th to 19th centuries.
