Located on the banks of the River Douro, next to Porto's historic old town, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, the Transport and Communications Museum (MTC) occupies the historic building of Porto Customs House, one of the most emblematic buildings in town. The mission of the Museum is to disseminate the history of transportation and the different media developed by man up to the present, as well as the valuation of the associated heritage.
