The Sotto Mayor Palace is a characteristic building of the French architecture of the early twentieth century and was built by Joaquim Sotto - Mayor, businessman emigrated in Brazil. Its layout was designed by Gaston Landeck and the interior decor contributed some of the best artists of the time, among which are Dórdio Gomes, Joaquim Lopes and Antonio Ramalho. Around him stretches a wide green space, set in a fully walled property. The building is developed on five floors, each floor crossed by a wide corridor with access to the various divisions.
