Installed in the east wing of the Palace of Belém, in the old Royal Riding Arena , this museum has an exhibition of patent seventeenth century to the nineteenth century vehicles , including uniforms , harnesses and accessories. This space will also find a gallery of portraits of the Bragança dynasty and a collection of armory and parade accessories eighteenth century. The museum extends across three centuries of history, with carriages Portugal , Spain, France and Austria , ranging from the sublime to the ridiculous . It is undoubtedly one of the best European collections of its kind .
