With ceilings painted by Portuguese artists of the nineteenth century, this museum exhibits essentially weapons collections, highlighting a collection of old cannons and modern murals, whose theme is the discovery of the sea route to India. It also has collections of archeology, photography, costume and history. It has an exhibition dedicated to the Portuguese military history, from the sixteenth century to the present time.
