Mimo - motion picture museum, located in Leiria, was established in 1996, the year in which it celebrated one hundred years of cinema in Portugal. The main objective of this museum is to gather, protect, preserve and catalog the objects and techniques related to moving pictures, promoting research and studio in this area. A space where the past meets the future, where the discussion takes place, a culture platform and experience, open to the community. Situated within the Leiria Castle wall near the Church of St. Peter.
