Installed in the old Episcopal Palace of the city, this museum was created in 1917. The most notorious feature of the Museum's collection is its eclecticism. The collection is mainly in the eighteenth century, covering the period from the first century to the present day, with an evident highlight for the Renaissance period. Highlight for the Flemish tapestries and the painting of Vasco Fernandes. The Gothic cruise here is classified as Property of Public Interest.
