It is a solarium building from the 18th century that was restored by the town hall, when it threatened to collapse, in order to install the collections of ancient numismatics and archeology of Father João Parente. The acquisition of the property was made with money from the municipality with the help in donations of the city. Here you can find one of the largest collections of numismatics, as well as another type of archaeological collection also collected by Father Parente. This space also has an educational service, which complements with a temporary exhibition area.
