Signed by Cerejeira Fontes Arquitetos, it counted with the collaboration of the sculptor Asbjörn Andresen. The few, but very important, props of the chapel were in charge of the artist Ilda David, and also of some artisans of Barcelos. Its simplicity, which hides the complexity of the liturgy, is the main highlight. Built of wood, it took about 20 tons of wood. Nothing was nailed nor were there hinges, everything was fitted. Embedded wooden beams create a dazzling play of light and shadows, especially at the end of the day.
