World of Wine Porto (WOW Porto) is a cultural district with museums, restaurants and bars, a wine school, various shops and spaces for exhibitions and events. With breathtaking views and fun and information for all ages, it is located in the historic area of the city of Vila Nova de Gaia, on the south bank of the Douro River. WOW was born from the restoration of several wine warehouses belonging to the Fladgate Partnership group and, as it is a cultural and tourist complex without parallel in Portugal, it was the target of the rare distinction "Special Achievement Award", in the Best Of Wine Tourism 2022 international competition.
