The Verdemaçã occupies part of the ground floor of the Casa dos Corte-Reais, a palace located at the convergence of Rua Direita with Praça Velha and built in 1815 by a wealthy merchant and treasurer of the Bull of the Crusade in the Azores. In this space, where all the interior architecture and its building elements have been preserved, you can enjoy the delicacies of the convent pastry, as well as other delights, such as the "Tarte d'avó", a recipe for family apple pie.
