It is one of the oldest and largest properties in the Douro Demarcated Region, whose origins date back to the early 19th century. It is a farm that has been transformed, maintaining the warm root of a Douro house. The rooms, decorated with elegant simplicity, with a rural design and open windows to the vineyard, are spread over seven houses, like the "cardanhos" (small single storey houses, with low ceiling and rudimentary construction, where the farm workers once slept), a picturesque house near the river, or even in two balloons, previously used for wine storage and that have been transformed and equipped with all amenities. Here you can enjoy an outdoor pool with sun loungers and views of the river, a grocery store with products from the farm and the region, an interpretive center and also the Cantina de Ventozelo - a restaurant with a terrace that is a large terrace overlooking the superb Douro landscape. The installation of a river pier has provided privileged access to the Quinta for those arriving by boat, or just those who want to enjoy a boat ride in the calm waters of the Douro.
