The Parque da Cidade do Porto (city's park), by the landscape architect Sidónio Pardal, is the largest urban park in the country, occupying a total of 83 hectares and about 10 km of paths. The park, which has lakes, varied flora and fauna, is harmoniously integrated in the city. The modeling of the terrain, the stone elements and the trees create particularly pleasant interiors. Perfect for relaxing, meditating, playing sports, having picnics, strolling and, essentially, enjoying nature. The park also has direct access to Matosinhos beach and, throughout the year, hosts a variety of cultural events.
