The Cadaval Palace is the birthplace and property of the family of the Dukes of Cadaval from its founding in the 14th century to the present. Built on the ruins of a Moorish castle, subject to interventions over the centuries, it results in a unique combination of Mudejar, Gothic and Manueline styles. Located in the historic center of Évora, opposite the Roman Temple, it has a vast residential area with several floors, two interior gardens and a church that is the pantheon of all generations of the Dukes of Cadaval family, being a national reference for its splendid interiors .
