Created in 1928 to house the artistic estate of the extinct Collegiate Church of Nossa Senhora da Oliveira and other churches and convents of Guimarães. The area offers a visit to the exhibitions of ancient religious art, the collections of sculptures from the medieval period up to the 18th century, the collections of jewelery and paintings from the 16th to the 18th centuries, among many other exhibitions.
