Built at the end of the 17th century by the judge Jerónimo da Cunha Pimentel, the house of Morgadio da Calçada is one of the oldest and most important estates of Provesende. Having played a central role in the development of the region, the building still retains the original layout and chapel built in the 18th century. In addition to a fabulous stay in this historic house, you can take part in tasting courses in the original cellar of the house, visit the vineyards, visit the centennial barrels and taste the wines of Porto and Douro Morgadio da Calçada, signed by Dirk van der Niepoort.
