Jardins do Palácio de Cristal
In the heart of the city of Porto and with the best panoramic views over the Douro River, there are the Crystal Palace Gardens. Designed in the 19th century by landscape architect Émille David, they were built alongside the Crystal Palace building, especially for organizing various events. The gardens are divided between dirt trails, woods, labyrinths and strategic viewpoints, with stunning views over the river and the city. It is possible to stroll through the Gardens and come across small bridges, trails and stone benches, small fountains and lakes, which mirror the reflections of the leaves of the surrounding trees. In these gardens, strategically thought and designed, which are divided by themes, the presence of peacocks is very common, which enchant visitorswith its "colorful displays".
