The location is unique: it integrates part of the Serra do Mendro (mountain), whose altitude of the densely wooded slopes allows a beautiful panorama, overlooking the fields of olive groves and crops, but also the Alqueva dam. Outdoor activities are mandatory experiences, such as photographic jeep safaris on the property or balloon rides. The Herdade produces unique wines, of great aromatic complexity and natural freshness, thus having numerous proposals in terms of wine tourism. The accommodation harmoniously matches what surrounds it and recreates the atmosphere of the typical Alentejo houses, with several giant open fireplaces and Alentejo snacks available in the restaurant, open permanently.
