Founded in 1854, surrounded by cork oaks and eucalyptus trees from Australia, Herdade da Calada hides among the gentle hills from Alentejo. After many interventions (remodeling works), it preserves the beauty and elegance of the original feature of the main building and is today one of the most modern and innovative wineries in Portugal. Careful winemaking produces very complex wines with natural aromas that reflect the unique and typical character of autochthonous grape varieties and the property itself.
