Traveling on the Douro Historic Train is a journey through time. On a route very close to the Douro River, the steam locomotive dated 1925 and the 5 historic carriages travel the distance from Régua to Tua, on a unique journey into the past, marked by the beauty of the landscape classified by UNESCO as World Heritage. Along the way, you can taste a glass of Port wine and a slice of regional cake, to the sound of traditional singing. Take advantage of the stop at Pinhão station to taste or buy wines and gourmet products from the region, as well as admire the fantastic tile panels found outside the building. The Douro Historical Train runs annually between June and October.
