It is the largest medieval cathedral in the country. Dedicated to Saint Mary, the Cathedral was built in the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries, in Romanesque and Gothic styles, highlighting the ogival portico, decorated with sculptures of the Apostolate and the cloister. The chancel is from the 18th century (Baroque style), by architect Frederico Ludovici. Inside there are many architectural and artistic elements of relevance.
