Quinta da Mirabela dates back to 1888. It has been recently refurbished, which has given it the status of a luxurious inn and preserves the culture and heritage of Madeira's history. The location is privileged, in a quiet area, 2 km from the city center. It has a wide panoramic view over the whole bay and harbor of Funchal. From the Quinta's terrace you can see the famous basket-carts sliding down the hill below. Quinta de Mirabela has 24 rooms, all overlooking the sea. It has a restaurant and bar, healthclub, reading room and several spaces for relaxation.
