Solar dos Marcos is inserted in an 18th-century building that belonged to Bishop Manuel Martins Manso, bishop of Guarda. On the façade, which bears the coat of arms of the Marcos family, features of a noble house in the Trás-os-Montes region are visible. The inn has, inside, a chapel and an orchard. It promotes leisure programs that include excursions in the cliffs of the Douro, guided tours to typical villages and traditional activities.
